A collection of my favourite exercises proven to burn the most calories

 

Please make sure that you are physically able to participate in an exercise programme. If you have never exercised before or you have a pre-existing condition, consult your physician.

I’ve categorized the exercises into 3 categories – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.  You will notice that the intermediate exercises are simply extensions of the beginner exercises. It is important that are able to properly execute the beginner movements first before attempting the advanced exercises. Also, please don’t think that the advanced exercises are “superior” to the beginner exercises. When I say “beginner”, I just mean that the exercises is the FIRST LEVEL of a series of levels. If you have never exercised before, you will definitely see tremendous results by doing the beginner exercises. When the beginner exercises get easier, you may then progress to the intermediate version of that exercise. I’ve been workout out for years and I still do lunges (categorized as beginner) to this day.

Don’t be an idiot and jump straight to an advanced exercise. You will be extremely sore and exhausted for the next week! I’ve put the exercises in proper order so you can avoid feeling intense soreness and fatigue. Also, if you can’t even do the beginner exercise properly, then you’ll look like a fool when you try to do exercises that are too advanced for you. You will get there, just be patient and take the RIGHT steps.

 

LUNGE (Beginner)

Muscles targeted:

  • Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius (BUTT)
  • Quadriceps (Thighs)
  • Hamstrings

 

Lunge + Shoulder Press (Intermediate)

Muscles targeted:

  • Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius (BUTT)
  • Quadriceps (Thighs)
  • Hamstrings
  • Abdominal Muscles
  • Anterior, Medial Deltoid (Shoulders)
  • Triceps (arms)

 

Lunge + Curl + Press (Advanced)

Muscles targeted:

  • Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius (BUTT)
  • Quadriceps (Thighs)
  • Hamstrings
  • Abdominal Muscles
  • Anterior, Medial Deltoid (Shoulders)
  • Triceps (arms)
  • Biceps (arms)
